Rosie Whetstone is experienced in working succesfully with adults, couples and young people who face many issues, including; Depression, Anxiety and Stress, Lack of self worth and direction, Bereavement, The effects of loss, trauma or disability, Job related stress, work issues, Relationship difficulties, Post traumatic stress disorder, Eating disorders, Abuse(including sexual abuse), Addiction and recovery and Couples Counselling

Working in an integrated holistic way that acknowledges the uniqueness of each individual, Rosie's experience allows her to adapt her approach to meet specific needs. Rosie has experience in CBT and where appropriate uses this in her work.
Rose believes we are shaped by our past, so finding a way to understand, make sense of, and accept our history is an important facet of finding our own identity.

Gaining insight into what drives us and learning why we sometimes repeat destructive processes is another aspect of our work that can lead to change, enabling us to find contentment and inner peace. 

Rosie's endeavour is that by creating the right environment we will build a srong, trusting relationship where you will feel safe to share, feeling understood and accepted. 

Rosie is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and works within the requirements set out in their code of ethics.
